Help Gabby regain his health and get back to gabbing!
Gabby came to Magnolia Exotic Bird Sanctuary after living in filth with 200 other animals including pigeons, chickens and other birds. He has a severely broken beak, and his nares closed so he has to breathe through his mouth. An unidentified black tissue has formed in his mouth.
At Gabby's first vet visit, they trimmed his jagged beak. He was then placed on several medications to fight infection and reduce inflammation. Removing the blackish substance in his mouth seemed too painful, so he'll be put under anesthesia to determine what it is and remove it.
Gabby has a long road to recovery, but when he's disease-free, a foster is ready and happy to take him in!
You can help Gabby get the treatment he needs. Your gift will directly treat his infection and help him bloom into his sweet and talkative self.
Help us meet our $2,000 goal to save Gabby! Funds raised over this amount will help provide medical care to other shelter pets.
